Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik’s new drama Doctor Slump

‘Tis the season to enjoy the rise of reunion K-dramas. Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik previously worked together on the melodrama The Heirs (which was released 10 years ago!) as classmates. This time around, they’ll be portraying a romantic pair in this heartwarming new rom-com.

Doctor Slump will tell the story of a successful plastic surgeon named Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung-sik) and anesthesiologist Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) who were once rivals in the past. After hitting rock bottom, their paths will cross and will become each other’s solace.

Aside from the main leads, fans have high hopes for this drama because it will be led by director Oh Hyun-jong of Find Me in Your Memory and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. It will also be written by scriptwriter Baek Sun-woo of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.

Yoon Bak (sometimes spelt Yoon Park) — who starred in Fanletter, Please alongside Girls’ Generation’s Choi Soo-young — will also join the show. Other cast members include Kong Seong-ha (Daily Dose of Sunshine), Jang Hye-jin (Crash Landing On You), and more.
