BLINKs, you can breathe a sigh of relief because BLACKPINK is not disbanding. But you might be wondering what’s all this buzz about the members going on different paths. BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo have revealed their plans for their solo activities in the future, so here’s everything you need to know.
To clear away any confusion, their group activities will still be handled by their home agency, YG Entertainment. However, since they didn’t renew their individual contracts, the members are free to decide for themselves when it comes to their solo pursuits.

Jisoo unveils her own label BLISSOO
Jisoo has officially revealed that she's the CEO of BLISSOO. It has just launched its official website, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube channel.
Back in January 2024, reports revealed that BLISSOO is an entertainment start-up operating under Biomom, Inc., an infant health food company. While this seems like a strange move for the renowned K-pop star and Snowdrop actress, the CEO is Jisoo’s brother, Kim Jeung-hoon, so we’re hoping she’s in good hands. Eagle-eyed K-fans also spotted the new agency’s job ads in January featuring the artist’s photo and openings for staff members, managers, and bodyguards.
Jisoo's solo brand partnerships and projects: Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Dior & more
While fans await more details regarding Jisoo's upcoming music releases, the FLOWER singer has also snagged an exciting film project — she is set to make her Korean movie debut in the live-action remake of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, a popular manhwa (webcomic). The film will also star top-profile actors Lee Min-Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop. Stay tuned for details on the movie's release.
It's been three years since Jisoo was first unveiled as the global beauty and fashion ambassador for Dior. Since then, she has modelled for many of their campaigns and has reportedly helped the brand generate sales and secure millions in media impact value. In 2023, Dior Beauty released a new shade of its Dior Lip Glow colour-reviving lip balm and named it 031 Strawberry in honour of the singer's birthday.
But her impact in the fashion and beauty industry doesn't stop there. American premium athletic apparel brand Alo Yoga has also worked with Jisoo on multiple occasions, which includes featuring her as the face of their Spring 2024 campaign earlier this January and curating a selection of products named Jisoo + Alo for fans to re-create the singer's fitness-inspired looks.
Lisa establishes her own agency LLOUD
Money hitmaker Lisa has launched her own artist management company LLOUD! According to its website, it aims to "create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations", redefine boundaries, and craft chart-topping and genre-defying music. Her first solo activity under this agency is a new single titled ROCKSTAR, which dropped on 28 June. She also launched a personal TikTok account to promote her long-awaited solo comeback.
Lisa's solo brand partnerships and projects: Louis Vuitton, solo fan meetups & more
Lisa has been a CELINE girl through and through, having served as their global ambassador from 2020 till earlier this year. She also gave fans and fashion lovers plenty of style inspiration, whether she's decked in the brand's casual-cool pieces or posing elegantly with their latest bag. However, as she embarked on her solo pursuits, she's also 'LV'-ed up her fashion partnerships in July 2024; securing a highly-coveted role as house ambassador for Louis Vuitton.
On the solo music front, Lisa has been booked and busy: She dropped her latest single, Moonlit Floor on 3 October 2024, which features her unique spin on the pop track, Kiss Me, by American pop rock band Sixpence None the Richer.
Fans in Asia can also look forward to Lisa's upcoming fan meetups, which include a stop in Singapore on 11 November 2024. See here for more details. Till then, do also keep a lookout for her performance at the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which is set to take place on 15 October 2024. The star-studded, all-women entertainment lineup also includes performances by Cher and Tyla.
Jennie launches her label Odd Atelier
In December 2023, Jennie launched her own company, called OA (short for Odd Atelier). She wrote a heartfelt message thanking her fans for all their love and asking for their support for her future endeavours. Based on its website, OA is a label that “aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is expected”. Currently, Jennie is the only artist under it.
Jennie's solo brand partnerships and projects: 'Human CHANEL', new single Mantra & more
Jennie's sartorial influence is indisputable. Remember when she first featured her puffy COS bag in one of her 'fit checks on Instagram, which quickly resulted in a 'cloud bag' frenzy? Her collaborations with cult eyewear brand Gentle Monster, clothing brand Calvin Klein, and more reached viral status as well on social media.
She made her runway debut for the Jacquemus 15th-anniversary fashion show in Capri, Italy earlier this year. She also starred in the CHANEL Coco Crush campaign — as part of her ongoing partnership and ambassadorship for CHANEL — and appeared in variety shows including Apartment 404.
In terms of Jennie's solo music ventures, she is set to release her new single, Mantra, on 11 October 2024. Jennie also posted a cryptic caption, "Find me in your city," on her socials, signalling fans to keep a look out for more promotional content surrounding her song release.
Rosé joins The Black Label
Rosé has officially signed a management contract with The Black Label, a company led by producer Teddy who also worked on some of the girl group’s music. She also posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram account, thanking fans for all their love and asking for their support in her new music soon.
Rose's solo partnerships and projects: 'Rosie' Full-length album release, repping Puma & more
Rosé teamed up with PUMA, kicking off their partnership by wearing the PUMA Palermo, the brand’s iconic low-top sneaker. She recently announced the upcoming release of her first full-length studio album, Rosie, which will be out on 6 December 2024. She's also now signed to Atlantic Records, and has opened her 'finsta' account, @vampirehollie to document the latest updates from her and her team.
