ICYMI: Netflix Is Now Sharing Its Streaming Numbers To The World

Binge-watching is the name of the game

December is the month for all things wrapped — literally and figuratively. From presents to music streams and search queries, now, we’re onto Netflix streaming hours. That’s because the streaming service just launched their ‘What We Watched’ Engagement Report.

Netflix 'What We Watched' Engagement Report

Netflix just released a list of titles that accumulated 50,000 viewing hours or more.

The Netflix report: ‘What We Watched’

The new engagement report from Netflix is a list of thousands of titles available on the platform and the number of streaming hours it garnered. The first iteration of the report (which was recently released) covers streaming from January to June 2023. For this period, over 18,000 titles are covered, with each title having a minimum of 50,000 streaming hours.

According to the streaming service, this is a big step for them and the industry. "We believe the viewing information in this report — combined with our weekly Top 10 and Most Popular lists — will give creators and our industry deeper insights into our audiences, and what resonates with them,” Netflix added. They also said they will be releasing a What We Watched report twice a year, every six months.
