In The Glory, Lim Ji Yeon showed her acting chops when she landed the role of Park Yeon-jin — the rival of Song Hye Kyo’s character Moon Dong-eun. Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun played the role of Joo Yeo-jeong — Dong-eun’s partner and executioner.

While the series played a huge role in Lim Ji Yeon’s rise to fame, we’ve rounded up other K-dramas which show off her acting range.

4 K-dramas starring Lim Ji Yeon

1. Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area

Lim Ji Yeon took on the role of Seoul in Part 2 of South Korea’s remake of the Netflix series Money Heist. Seoul is the new addition to the crew, and she was able to pull off a buzz-worthy and mysterious character.

You can watch Money Heist: Korea on Netflix.

2. The Royal Gambler

Lim Ji Yeon has been a part of many heavy, realist dramas, but she has also rocked the hanbok (a Korean traditional dress) and taken part in the historical drama The Royal Gambler alongside actor Yeo Jin Goo. She plays the role of Dam Seo who wants to seek revenge on the king.

You can watch The Royal Gambler on Viu.

3. High Society

High Society takes us to where it all started for Lim Ji Yeon. Despite its mixed reviews, High Society allowed Ji Yeon to make her small-screen debut. Add it to your watch list if you’re a fan of Uee and Park Hyung Sik too. In the drama, Ji Yeon switches lives with Uee’s character and gets a taste of the life of an heiress of a chaebol (owners of a wealthy conglomerate) family.

You can watch High Society on Viki.

4. Lies Hidden in My Garden

Lim Ji Yeon will star alongside actress Kim Tae Hee (known for Hi Bye, Mama!) in an upcoming K-drama that’s giving us The Glory vibes. Lies Hidden in My Garden (also known as House with a Yard) is a suspenseful thriller about two women with different personalities whose lives intersect when a mysterious smell of a corpse emanates from one of their backyards.

It will premiere on 19 June in Korea. Stay tuned for its release in Singapore.
