Revolver is going to be one heavyweight movie because it will also star veteran actress Jeon Do Yeon (Crash Course In Romance, Kill Boksoon) and Ji Chang Wook (Suspicious Partner, The K2).
Plot details are sparse, but reports say that Jeon Do Yeon will take on the role of an ex-police officer who gets framed for a crime and serves a sentence in prison. After serving time, she then finds a new purpose and mission. Lim Ji Yeon will play the character of Jung Yoon Sun who will join the main character in achieving her goal while Ji Chang Wook will play a mysterious character named Andy.
The three stars met up with director Oh Seung Uk for their first table read.
Expectations are high because Sanai Pictures will be producing the new movie. The company boasts films shown at the Cannes Film Festival throughout the years, including The Shameless (also directed by Oh Seung Uk and starred Jeon Do Yeon) in 2015, Hunt (helmed by first-time director and Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae) in 2022, and Hopeless (which starred Song Joong Ki) in 2023.
