1. Love Like the Galaxy




Love Like the Galaxy bagged the top spot on the platform’s most watched dramas. It stars Leo Wu and Zhao Lu Si. Leo Wu plays the character of Ling Bu Yi, who goes on a personal mission to uncover hidden truths about the past which had led to the massacre of an entire city and his clan. On his journey, he meets Cheng Shao Shang (played by Zhao Lu Si). Cheng Shao Shang hopes to be reunited with her parents who left her when she was young. She’s someone who’s determined to live for herself, has an unruly and audacious nature, and has quick wits.

2. Again My Life




Again My Life (Viu Original) stars Lee Joon-gi. He plays the role of Kim Hee Woo, a public prosecutor. One of his investigations is abruptly ended when a mysterious man kills him. However, he comes back to life and tries to discover the truth about what happened to him. On his journey, he encounters Kim Hee Ah (played by Kim Ji-eun), an exceptionally intelligent young woman who helps him search for answers.

3. Ghost Doctor




Ghost Doctor stars K-pop icon Rain and Kim Bum. Rain plays the role of Cha Young Min, a genius but arrogant doctor. One day, he gets involved in an accident and due to this, his spirit possesses another doctor's body, Seung Tak (played by Kim Bum). The two doctors have completely opposite personalities and medical abilities and fans must not miss their fun interactions.

4. Reborn Rich




Reborn Rich (Viu Original) is one of this year’s most buzz-worthy K-dramas as it stars Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min, Shin Hyun-been, and more. It’s about Yoon Hyun Woo, a devoted, hard-working, and loyal secretary to the Jin family, which runs the lucrative Soonyang Group business empire. One day, he is ruthlessly betrayed by the family and dies shortly after. But then he is miraculously brought back to life inside the body of Jin Do Joo, the youngest male member of the Jin family.

5. Immortal Samsara




Immortal Samsara centres on the fairy Yan Dan (played by Yang Zi). She and her twin sister Zhi Xi (played by Meng Zi Yi) transforms into human form and Yan Dan faces the greatest trial of her life, the love trial. When she falls in love with Lord Ying Yuan (played by Cheng Yi), it results in wasting 900 years trying to forget him. Yu Mo (played by Ray Chang) enters her life and encourages her to perform good deeds. While punishing evil, they encounter Lord Ying Yuan's current reincarnation, Tang Zhou, the demon hunter, and they assist him on his quest.

Upcoming titles on Viu Singapore


K-movie The Thieves stars Korean heavyweights Lee Jung-jae, Kim Hye-soo and Kim Yoon-seok. Two groups of highly trained thieves from South Korea and Hong Kong are recruited to steal a valuable diamond in a casino in Macau. On the surface, everyone looks like they are working as a team, but they all have their own secret agenda. It will premiere on 8 January 2023.

6/45 stars Go Kyung-pyo, Lee Yi-kyung, Park Se-wan, and more. It’s an action comedy film that centres on a winning lottery ticket found by a South Korean sergeant. However, a North Korean soldier later finds and claims the ticket as his own when it crosses the demilitarised zone (DMZ).

The revenge action film The Goblin stars Cho Dong-hyuk. The title refers to the nickname of his character, Doo-hyeon, the scapegoat for his boss’ murder. Its story aims to keep you on the edge of your seat. It will premiere on 12 January 2023.

For K-drama fans, watch out for Brain Cooperation, which stars Jung Yong-hwa and Cha Tae-hyun. It’s a comedy-action drama about a cold, level-headed neuroscientist and a kindhearted detective who can’t stand each other but are forced to work together to solve a case involving a rare brain disease. It will premiere on 14 January 2023.

The second season of the historical medical series Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist will premiere on 12 January 2023. Kim Min-jae, Kim Hyang-gi and Kim Sang-gyeong will reprise their roles.
