Millie Bobby Brown is the star of the upcoming science-fiction Netflix movie, The Electric State!
The 19-year-old actress is on a roll. Aside from this anticipated film, Millie is the lead for the fantasy-adventure movie Damsel and will reprise her role for Enola Holmes 2. On top of it all, Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1, where she plays protagonist Eleven, debuted to much fanfare and is set to become the most-watched English TV series on Netflix.

The Electric State: Plot
The Electric State is based on the 2018 illustrated science fiction book of the same name by Swedish author Simon Stålenhag. The story is set in an alternate world in 1997 and follows a runaway teenager who traverses the American West that’s now littered with giant battle drones and electric waste from a “high-tech consumerist society addicted to a virtual-reality system”.
The Electric State: Cast and production
Millie Bobby Brown is confirmed to play the lead role. Meanwhile, Chris Pratt is said to be in talks with the production team to join the cast for an unspecified role.
The Electric State will be directed by the Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, who also directed the upcoming Netflix movie The Gray Man. Production is reported to be scheduled for October 2022.
