You know her best as sweet Lara Jean Covey in the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movies, but Lana Condor is taking on the role of a ghost in the new Netflix series Boo, Bitch. Intrigued? Read on to know about the plot, cast and release date of this upcoming show.
Boo, Bitch starring Lana Condor: Plot
The 25-year-old actress will play Erika Vu, a high school senior who sets out on a mission to go on fun escapades before leaving for college. She is joined by her best friend Gia (played by Zoe Colletti). Together, the two go on various adventures.
While the first part of the show is similar to the plot of Booksmart, which also centres around two graduating students who want to make the most out of their last days in high school, the next thing that happens is completely different. Lana Condor’s Erika Vu is hit by an unknown vehicle and wakes up the next morning as a ghost. But the twist is that she still appears human; everybody can still see her and she can’t walk through walls.
Erika then discovers a “loophole” that she can stay on Earth living as a ghost that appears as a human if she becomes famous. She then works to become a popular influencer which causes a rift between her and Gia.
Boo, Bitch starring Lana Condor: Cast
The eight-episode limited comedy series will also star up-and-coming talents such as Mason Versaw (Gossip Girl, 2021), Tenzing Norgay Trainor (Clueless, 2019) Aparna Brielle (A.P. Bio), and Jason Genao (On My Block).
