The acclaimed actor (and heartthrob) is known for his globally popular roles in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Itaewon Class, and more.

Gyeongseong Creature: cast and plot

The thriller series will revolve around individuals going up against monstrous creatures born out of human greed. It’s set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong. Aside from its interesting backdrop, it’s highly anticipated because it will feature a host of talented and well-loved cast members.

Park Seo Joon is set to play the role of Jang Tae-sang, a wealthy, well-connected person in Gyeongseong who puts money before justice. But that will all change when he meets Yun Chae-ok (played by Han So Hee from My Name), a specialist in finding missing persons.

Jang Tae-sang’s best friend is played by Wi Ha Jun, who is popularly known for his roles in Squid Game and Little Women. He will join in the cause of finding the missing persons in the series.

The wife of a powerful official in Gyeongseong during the colonial period will be played by Claudia Kim (whom you might have seen as Dr. Helen Cho in Avengers: Age of Ultron or as Nagini in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald).

Kim Hae-sook (who took on loveable roles in Start-Up and Hospital Playlist) and Cho Han-cheul (whose acting range is seen in his roles in Vincenzo and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) will also join the brilliant lineup.

Gyeongseong Creature: release date

While Netflix has yet to release the K-drama’s official poster, trailer, and release date, it has announced that it will be released in 2023. The streaming service has also confirmed that its second season is in the works. Stay tuned for more updates.
