A K-pop idol gets tangled up with an ordinary college student — not exactly a groundbreaking love story. But what’s getting everyone’s attention is that Doona! will be directed by Lee Jung-hyo who was also at the helm of the highly successful Crash Landing On You. According to Netflix, you can expect “an emotionally gripping journey”. Plus, it’s got a promising set of cast members.

Suzy will be playing the titular role of Doona. In the story, she ends up sharing a house with a starstruck freshman named Lee Won-jun who will be played by Yang Se-jong (Dr. Romantic, Temperature of Love, and more).
