"Knowing what Hourglass is good for, I was very excited to try this!" Chloe enthused. Chloe shared that she likes her foundations to be non-drying — since she has dry skin — and have good coverage, which the Hourglass foundation seems to match.

The foundation is formulated with Light-Diffusing Pigments that give it its soft-focus finish while also claiming to deliver protection against blue light. There are also Blurring Spheres that help diffuse any fine lines and wrinkles, while also amping up the skin's glow. It has antioxidants that protect your skin from free radicals and is infused with white tea extract and vitamin E to nourish the skin.

"It gives a soft finish with a hint of radiance or glow they say, so it does live up to its name," Chloe said. "I like that it blurs my pores really nicely."

Chloe like that it has a buildable medium coverage too. "Although I prefer to have this foundation lightly applied for a more natural look." She uses one to two pumps of foundation and blends it well with a brush, followed by a makeup sponge.

After wearing the foundation all day long, Chloe said it does live up to its long-wearing claims. "Even in Singapore’s hot weather, I didn't notice the product wearing away by mid-day. It didn't feel greasy too, so I’m quite impressed!"

Final verdict on the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation

It’s a thumbs up for anyone who likes the dewy skin look but still wants some coverage.

"Personally, I'm not a huge foundation person and generally prefer lighter formulas but I still really liked this," Chloe shared. "Even though it felt more full coverage to me, I was pleasantly surprised by the lightweight texture and how seamlessly it blended into my skin so it can be a daily wear for a natural look!"

Want to try it too? "I would recommend it to people who like to have a light, natural dewy look without feeling too heavy on the skin," she added.

The Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation is available in Singapore through Sephora stores and website.
