The Frog: trailer, cast, plot, and more
We’ve seen Go Min Si take on an intense role as Lee Eun-yu in Netflix’s Sweet Home. She also scores brownie points with the cast (which includes Park Seo Joon) as an ‘intern’ in the second season of the lighthearted variety show Jinny’s Kitchen. Now, the 29-year-old is set to star in what seems to be a spine-chilling, psychological thriller series called The Frog.
The story kicks off in a remote location, in which Jeon Young Ha (Kim Yoon Seok) runs a vacation cottage. His peaceful life is disrupted when a woman named Yoo Seong Ha (Go Min Si) suddenly appears and becomes the catalyst for a series of strange events.
But the story goes way back to over 20 years ago when Goo Sang Joon (Yoon Kye Sang) ran the place. An unfortunate event — which has yet to be unveiled in the series — caused him to lose everything. Yoon Bo-Min (Lee Jung Eun from Miss Night and Day, Parasite) has been around as a member of the police force since the first mysterious happenings took place. Now, in the present day, she’s the chief and begins to observe the new person in charge closely.
K-drama fans are thrilled about the show since it is directed by Mo Wan Il, who led the successful series The World of the Married. ICYDK, its finale holds the position of being the highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history.
EXO-Ls (fans of EXO) are also excited about the appearance of Park Chanyeol in this drama. His exact role is still shrouded in mystery, so stay tuned for more details and our full review!
