And in 2024, new reality variety show Apartment 404 (working title) is set to take the hearts of mystery lovers out there with its unique concept. Apartment 404 and what we know so far
Just this week, Korean network tvN officially unveiled its upcoming reality variety show, Apartment 404 (working title). The show’s concept is that apartment residents will experience extraordinary events which will lead them to solve mysteries that are based on true stories. Its director, Jung Chul Min, is also the person behind the hit Korean variety show Sixth Sense, which aired from 2020 to 2022.

Apartment 404 cast
1. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie is back on our Korean TV screens! After years of concerts with BLACKPINK, endorsements, and even a role on a US show, she’s back to doing Korean TV shows. Jennie is a great addition to the show with her unique charm and entertainment skills.
2. Yoo Jae-suk
A veteran at variety and reality shows, and a national MC, Yoo Jae-suk will surely be an entertaining cast member on the show. His strength – as seen in his other shows – is his leadership and we can’t wait to see it in Apartment 404.
3. Cha Tae-hyun
You probably know Cha Tae-hyun from his roles in Sassy Girl, Hello Ghost, or his most recent one for Moving. According to tvN, his outspoken and logical characteristics will be a big help to the cast once they start solving mysteries.
4. Oh Na-ra
Veteran actress Oh Na-ra is joining the Apartment 404 cast as the lively woman that will energise her cast mates while solving mysteries. She is best known for her roles in Yong Pal, Sky Castle, and Sixth Sense.
5. Yang Se-chan
Yang Se-chan is no stranger to reality and variety shows. Since 2017, he has been a regular cast member of the long-standing variety show Running Man, along with Yoo Jae-suk. His wit is going to be his strength when it’s mystery-solving time.
6. Lee Jung-ha
From minor roles in series like Run On and Nevertheless, Lee Jung-ha recently made a name for himself when he landed a major role in Moving. While this is his first variety show, he will definitely gain the love and attention of his cast mates and audiences with his bubbly personality.
