These Emmys 2022 Beauty Looks Deserve Their Own Trophies

Award-winning hair and makeup

As with every awards season, we’re not just looking forward to the winners but also the beauty looks that will grace the red carpets. For Emmys 2022, we spotted a lot of our favourites — from nominees to guests. Below, Emmys 2022 beauty looks we think deserve their own trophies.

1. Zendaya’s nude makeup and voluminous ponytail

Zendaya never fails to wow the crowd with her red carpet looks and her Emmys hair and makeup ensemble is no exception. The clean brushed-up brows, nude makeup, and voluminous ponytail complement her sophisticated black Valentino number elegantly and we’re simply obsessed. P.S. Zendaya is the first Black woman in Emmy history to win the Best Lead Actress In A Drama category twice!

2. Sydney Sweeney’s signature doe-eyed look

Zendaya’s Euphoria co-star and fellow red carpet slayer Sydney Sweeney also looked gorgeous in her Oscar de la Renta gown. The vibe of the entire look was made even more romantic by her soft makeup comprised of her signature doe-eye look and pinkish nude lips.

3. Elle Fanning’s ‘50s look

Elle Fanning served classic Hollywood glamour with her Emmys 2022 beauty look. Her hair was fixed to a perfectly sleek poufy bob, elevated with a sparkly bow barrette. Her skin looked flawless, glowy, and nicely flushed, providing a great contrast to the bold winged eyeliner that framed her blue eyes.

4. Jung Hoyeon’s soft fringe and puffy bob

Jung Hoyeon is no stranger to trying out a number of looks as a runway model prior to her Squid Game success. But while fierce makeup is striking on her, this softer and more youthful choice for the Emmys was also one we can’t get enough of. Aside from the clean makeup, the soft fringe and puffy bob provided a nice mix of fun and playfulness while still being elegant and chic. The hair accessory she’s wearing was also a nod to traditional Korean headpieces worn with their national costume hanbok.

5. Sheryl Lee Ralph’s bejewelled look

Sheryl Lee Ralph not only bagged the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Abbott Elementary, but she also won our hearts with this bejewelled look that highlights her eyes and the rest of her long braid. The sparkling stones created a visual contrast to her Brandon Blackwood velvet dress.
