Dua Lipa is YSL Beauty’s New Global Brand Ambassador

This isn’t her training season as she’s ready to cement her status as a superstar — yes, we’re talking about singer Dua Lipa, who’s been announced as the newest makeup ambassador of YSL Beauty. Read below to find out more about Dua’s latest campaign with YSL featuring an all-new lip product line from the brand, her relationship with YSL, and moments when she served up her best beauty looks.

The ambassadorship adds yet another title to Dua’s name, who is also a multi-awarded singer, songwriter, and actress. As the ambassador, she says she will “push culture forward through beauty.” Dua shared that this step up from being the face of YSL Beauty’s Libre fragrance since 2019 to their global makeup ambassador seemed natural to her.

“I’ve been with the brand for five years now. I’ve grown up with the brand,” she told Vogue. Apart from Dua, YSL Beauty has likewise handpicked TWICE’s Sana and singer-actor Sho Hirano recently as their ambassadors for Japan and Asia, respectively.

According to the brand, they chose Dua as she “brings an electrifying energy” to YSL Beauty. There is no denying that energy, though, as we all know that she is known for female empowerment through her music and how she strives to achieve anything she sets her heart and mind to, even launching her editorial platform, Service95, which shares and celebrates stories from across the globe.

As the makeup ambassador, Dua will be at the centre of the YSL Loveshine campaign. YSL Loveshine is the brand’s new hero product line that focuses on the lips. The first two products from the line are the highly anticipated Loveshine Lip Oil and the Candy Glaze, a high-shine lipstick. More products will be revealed as the days go by, and we’re sure these will all be TDF.

There’s no word yet about YSL Loveshine’s official release in Singapore either, but stay tuned for updates and more details!
