Ahn Bo Hyun And Jisoo Confirm Their Breakup

Barbie and Ken part ways

Many dating rumours have been swirling around BLACKPINK members Lisa (she’s paired up with LVMH’s son Frederic Arnault) and Jennie (with BTS’ V) recently. Back in August, Jisoo became the first member to confirm that she's officially dating model slash actor Ahn Bo Hyun. However, it has just been revealed that the two have ended their relationship.

Ahn Bo Hyun and Jisoo's breakup

A report was released stating, “Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun’s relationship naturally became distant due to their busy schedules, and they recently broke up.” BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed, “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up.”

Ahn Bo Hyun and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo's dating news

K-pop fans can sometimes be possessive and toxic when responding to dating news revolving around their idols. So we felt that it was brave of Ahn Bo Hyun and Jisoo not to deny the rumours.

Instead, both YG Entertainment (Jisoo’s agency) and FN Entertainment (Bo Hyun’s agency) confirmed the news after Korean media outlet Dispatch released photos of the two meeting up at the Flower hitmaker’s home.

If you’d like to get to know more about Ahn Bo Hyun through his work, here’s a roundup of his dramas which are all available on Netflix.

Ahn Bo Hyun dramas

1. See You In My 19th Life

See You In My 19th Life is Ahn Bo Hyun’s most recent K-drama with the beloved actress Shin Hye Sun. It has a mix of fantasy, comedy, and, of course, romance. Fun fact: he lends his voice for one of the songs for the soundtrack, and you can listen to it right here.

2. Itaewon Class

The 2020 drama Itaewon Class is like Ahn Bo Hyun’s big break in his acting career. His acting chops shone in his role as the arrogant (and annoying) son of the rival of the main character (played by Park Seo Joon). Itaewon Class will hook you from start to finish with its dramatic underdog and rags-to-riches storyline, intriguing characters, and more.

Stream Itaewon Class here.

3. My Name

My Name is one of the dramas that allowed Ahn Bo Hyun to bag the Excellence Award, Actor in an OTT Drama (meaning an “over-the-top” drama that was delivered usually through a streaming service) at the 2022 APAN Star Awards. He stars alongside the talented Han So Hee in this thrilling crime series.
