Who’s ready for the return of Emily in Par-ee? Actress Lily Collins dropped a teaser for the second season of the popular Netflix series on her Instagram last night, which gave fans a peek at what to expect when it premieres on 22 December. Although the series had received mixed reactions, it successfully chalked up 58 million views in a single month and was crowned as Netflix’s most popular comedy series in 2020. It also landed two Golden Globes nominations earlier this year.
Singer, producer and
Rare Beauty founder Selena Gomez has created a multifaceted mental health platform, WonderMind, which will launch in February 2022. She founded the platform with her mother, Mandy Teefey, and Daniella Pierson, founder and CEO of The Newsette. Pierson revealed to
The Zoe Report that the platform will include a production arm, daily content arm and physical product arm, with the mission to create the “world’s first mental health aisle at global retailers.”

Last Train To New York, according to a report by
Deadline. Details of the movie premiere date have yet to be announced, however, Deadline noted that the film will be directed by Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto. Tjahjanto has also recently signed a deal with
Netflix, where he will direct a film titled

American beauty brand CoverGirl has unveiled its first-ever skincare line,
Clean Fresh Skincare. The 100% vegan skincare line is also certified cruelty-free by non-profit organisation Cruelty Free International, according to
VegNews. The range currently features five products: a Hydrating Cream Cleanser, a Weightless Water Cream, a Mattifying Oil Free Moisturiser, a Dry Skin Corrector and a Priming Glow Mist.
All of the products are formulated with TruClean™ Cactus Water, which is designed to improve skin texture and tone for a more flawless makeup application. The collection’s currently available only in the United States, so we’ll have to wait and see if it’ll arrive on our shores.
34-year-old Belgian designer Matthieu Blazy has been appointed as the
new creative director at Bottega Veneta. He had served as design director for the brand since June 2020. Prior to this, he was
vice president of design for womenswear and menswear at Calvin Klein 205W39NYC up till 2019 and had also worked under former Celine artistic director Phoebe Philo.
The folks behind the beloved comic strip series
Peanuts have teamed up with Japanese company Hikidashi to launch a range of
Peanuts-themed makeup brushes. Titled the
Peanuts Kumanofude series, the collection stars three makeup brush types that are all made with non-synthetic brush hairs. Each of the brushes is kept in a wooden box and features the engraving of
Peanuts characters, such as Snoopy and Snoopy’s sister, Belle. The products are priced from
USD23 and are currently open for pre-orders
online.
Singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have called it quits after dating for two years. The stars took to Instagram Stories to release a joint statement, sharing that they’ve both decided to end their romantic relationship.
