Whether you’re attending TWICE’s Ready to Be Tour, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres concert or Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Singapore, here’s our roundup of makeup tips to help you have a fantastic concert experience.
Concert makeup: tips and products
1. Don’t skip your skincare prep
Before putting on any makeup, be sure that your skin is moisturised and primed so that products (like your foundation, for example) won’t be uneven.
2. Get that (super) base
From queuing to get inside the venue to standing and screaming your heart out to your favourite song, it’s best to be ready for any sweat, humidity, and tears that may come throughout your experience. So products that have labels like “long-wear” and “lightweight” are essential for your arsenal.

It’s also best to use the mattifying type for your powder (like Givenchy Beauty’s Prisme Libre Loose Powder) to set in your makeup. However, a mattifying powder is not always the best way to go for people with dry skin, so you might want to go for a translucent loose powder (like the one from Laura Mercier).
Then use a setting spray (like the M.A.C Fix+ Stay Over Weightless 16HR Setting Spray) after every step, not just at the end of your makeup routine.
3. Find waterproof and smudge-proof products
Imagine getting all the feels and butterflies of seeing your favourite artist in the flesh. You’re in the moment and tears start to fall. To make sure that you’re getting the best out of your concert experience, be armed and ready with your waterproof makeup products.
