Laura Mercier’s No. 1 Setting Powder Gets A Classy New Look

In time for the iconic beauty brand’s 25th anniversary

We are wonderstruck as Laura Mercier launches dreamy new pieces to celebrate its 25th year in the industry. Laura Mercier unveils two limited edition offerings of its iconic Translucent Loose Setting Powder.

Loose Setting Powder Anniversary Edition

Right: The JUMBO Translucent Loose Setting Powder Anniversary Edition; Left: LUXE Translucent Loose Setting Powder Anniversary Edition

The Translucent Loose Setting Powder was one of French makeup artist Laura Mercier’s first creations in 1996. It claims to be the top-setting powder in many markets globally and an iconic beauty staple the world over. It’s beloved for its instant blurring effect, 16-hour wear and iconic soft-focus finish with zero photo flashback.

The limited edition pieces feature the artwork of Kit Agar, an English artist and illustrator known for abstract face drawings and for a range of works from Picasso-esque line drawings to dynamic colour block collages.

Kit Agar was hand-selected by Laura Mercier herself, and the artist effortlessly conveys the brand aesthetics with her unique approach to human form, seamlessly aligning with Laura’s long-standing ethos of “what makes you unique makes you beautiful.”
