The Spectacular STAR ISLAND Is Back In Singapore

Ready to enjoy a magical New Year’s Eve countdown with your friends and family? After a two-year hiatus, STAR ISLAND is returning to Singapore to bring you a dazzling year-end show.

One of the world’s leading fireworks entertainment, STAR ISLAND, will showcase an 80-minute array of sound and colours to tell a space and time-themed story titled ‘LIFE – Beyond The Time’.

The show will be a futuristic take on Japan’s Hanabi (Japanese for ‘fireworks’) summer tradition, where spectators gather over food and drinks to enjoy the fireworks.

It’s organised by Avex Asia, presented by a major global payment brand, JCB, and sponsored by Sanrio. And so, you can watch out for special appearances from Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty who will be dressed up as a DJ to party with fans and get them moving to the beat.

Prequel to STAR ISLAND

The ‘Prequel to STAR ISLAND’ event will run from 25 to 30 December 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza. It will be open to the public for free. There will be a myriad of family-friendly activities, a teaser of what the main show has to offer, a Sanrio Character pop-up store, and F&B offerings.

For the adults, there will be a Penfolds wine pop-up and a Jim Beam Highball Bar to usher in the new year. If you’re a JCB member, your JCB card will allow you to grab a free drink at the bar.

STAR ISLAND in Singapore: tickets

Ticket holders will be treated to a spectacle of specially hand-crafted fireworks designs never before seen in Singapore. They will have the best view of these fireworks that will make their way outside of Japan for the very first time.

This exciting event will happen on 31 December 2022 at The Float at Marina Bay against the iconic Marina Bay skyline. Tickets retail from SGD88 to SGD318 and are now on sale at Ticketmaster. Each ticket allows entry to The Float at Marina Bay, with food and beverage options for purchase.
