Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) tracklist

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) includes the 14 original songs from the 2010 album. If you’ve grown fond of the old tracks, you’ll get nostalgic and feel proud of Taylor’s fuller, stronger, and more mature vocals.

Taylor gave a heartfelt message on Instagram about the new album expressing her gratitude to fans for allowing her to reclaim her work.

Taylor shared, “It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20... I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now.”

The six new tracks she was referring to are called ‘From The Vault’ tracks. These are namely, Electric Touch (ft. Fall Out Boy), When Emma Falls In Love, I Can See You, Castles Crumbling (ft. Hayley Williams), Foolish One, and Timeless.

Each one of the tracks has its own lyric video available on YouTube for all Swifties to enjoy.

Why is Taylor re-recording her albums?

Taylor re-recorded Speak Now after re-recording the Fearless and Red albums. In case you need a quick recap, her previous works (her first six albums) were sold by her ex-label Big Machine Records to Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2019. Taylor described it in 2019 as being stripped of her life’s work without getting an opportunity to buy.

Speak Now marks the halfway point of her journey, and we can’t help but feel proud of her bravery, and we can’t wait to see which one will she re-record next.
