Emily in Paris star Ashley Park had fans worried when she posted that she had faced a medical emergency while vacationing in Thailand. This had fans questioning if she was able to participate in the upcoming fourth season of the hit Netflix show. Luckily, just a few hours ago, Ashley confirmed she’s back for Season 4!

In early January of 2024, just as the show was about to start its production for the new season, Ashley shared that she experienced a medical emergency while on holiday. What was initially just tonsillitis turned into a critical septic shock that affected several of her organs.
Celebrities like her co-star Lily Collins, Selena Gomez and Alexandra Daddario sent their well wishes for Ashley, while her partner and co-star Paul Forman posted a photo of them with the caption, “By your side, no matter what [heart emoji].”
A few weeks after the news, Ashley updated her followers saying she has been allowed to fly and is now in Paris recovering, confirming to worried fans that Mindy will be back conquering Paris with Emily in Season 4.
Who is Ashley Park?
Ashley Jini Park is an American actress and musician who has already appeared in several Broadway musicals since 2009. She played the role of Gretchen Wieners in the Broadway adaptation of Mean Girls and was even nominated for a Tony Award for her role.

The fourth season of the show has officially begun production, which was halted due to the Hollywood strikes, as seen on the Emily in Paris Instagram account. Lily also posted a selfie and a behind-the-scenes look at their first table read for Season 4 on her personal IG. No word yet on its release date, but click here for our latest updates.
