It’s a thrilling week for ARMYs. Today, 13 June, is the 10th anniversary of the sensational K-pop group BTS. Members RM, Jimin, and j-hope share their heartwarming messages for their fans online, the city of Seoul lights up in purple and launches a two-week festival to celebrate the milestone, and more.

And like icing on the cake, the movie Fast X has announced the upcoming track Angel Pt. 2 with Jimin, JVKE, Muni Long, and Charlie Puth on board.

Angel Pt. 2 will continue the narrative of the first track and will be released on 15 June 2023. You can bet that Jimin’s heavenly vocals will shine and harmonise well with his collaborators once again. 

JVKE is an American singer-songwriter (who’s known for golden hour), producer, and social media personality. Muni Long was a songwriter for Rihanna, Selena Gomez, and more but has now launched her own singing career. And Charlie Puth is the hitmaker behind See You Again (the lead single of Furious 7 — another film in the franchise), Attention, Left and Right (with BTS’ Jung Kook), and more.

BTS’ Jimin for Angel Pt. 1

Jimin was previously joined by JVKE, Muni Long, and rappers Kodak Black and NLE Choppa for Angel Pt. 1. With this track, Jimin broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest male K-pop solo artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify. He also became the first Korean soloist to chart four songs on the UK Official Singles Chart.
