3 Tips To Get Home Swiftly And Safely After The Eras Tour Singapore

It’s been a long time coming

Are you ready for The Eras Tour Singapore? We’re only days away from seeing Miss Taylor Swift herself at the National Stadium and we can’t contain our excitement anymore! But with this feeling also comes the worry of how to get home after the concert — competing with 50,000 other fans who are also rushing back to leave the premises.

Luckily, Grab has a few tips for Swifties who are attending The Eras Tour Singapore. Read below to see what they are!

Your getaway car: A free shuttle bus ride

For the entire week of concerts, Grab is offering free shuttle services from the National Stadium to different MRT stations. One route will bring concertgoers from the stadium to Redhill MRT and Jurong East MRT, while the other will take you to Boon Keng MRT and Toa Payoh MRT. Buses will only depart the pickup point once it is full.

Plus, you can even win SGD5 Grab vouchers for your next ride when you find Grab signs that say “Sing a line from your favourite Taylor Swift song”, and do what it says!

Navigating your way through the venue would likely be challenging if you’re walking with 50,000 others who are also exiting the stadium. But if you’re lucky and able to book a Grab ride going home, but having trouble finding your way to the pick-up point, you can check the photos on the app for directions. Aside from the National Stadium, Singapore Indoor Stadium, OCBC Arena, Kallang Wave Mall and Kallang Leisure Park are also nearby pickup points where you can book from.

It’s nice to have a friend: Book a Grab ride with multiple drop-off points

Booking will probably be difficult and take longer than usual given the huge crowd also trying to get their own rides. Try booking a Grab ride and add up to three drop-off points so you can share with your friends who are going in the same direction.

Meanwhile, if you’re going alone, you can save up on fees and book a Grabshare ride. There will only be a maximum of two passengers to ensure comfort, even with a lower fare. You might even make a new friend along the way — literally.

What are you hoping are Taylor’s surprise songs for Singapore?
