FAVES: Sun Spotlight

Shine like the sun

Taking photographs under direct sunlight can be tricky especially if you're going for a portrait shot. Doing so can result in strong shadows on the face and may make background colours oversaturated. However, there are ways to work with it. One trick is to know how to pose for under the sun photos. Nailing the right angle will change how the light will hit you so you can have better photos. Here are some ideas from the Clozette Community for taking better photos under the sun.

Wear shades to hide shadows on face

Lean on the shady side

Angle your body sideways

Face the sun directly
