Billie Eilish is coming to Manila this September 



Touted as one of the most influential Gen Z artists in the world, 17-year-old singer Billie Eilish has just revealed the dates for the Asia leg of her "Where Do We Go?" world tour and it includes a stop in Manila on 5 September. Fans, stay tuned to Live Nation Asia as tickets are scheduled to go on sale on 2 February. In other news regarding the artist, Billie has also earned six nominations including "Record of the Year" at the upcoming Grammy Awards 2020 and is also slated to perform the theme song from the new James Bond film No Time to Die


K-Beauty Brand Mamonde exits Singapore



K-Beauty brand Mamonde will be shutting down its retail operations in Singapore as it seeks to re-brand and re-position itself, according to a statement made by its parent company, Amore-Pacific. Famed for their Rose Water Toner and Everyday Aqua Sun Cream, the brand made its debut here in 2017 and was popular for appointing Korean actress Park Shin Hye as their ambassador. For those who are based in Singapore, you are encouraged to stock up on your favourite beauty essentials from the brand at their last physical retail space at Bugis+ before 27 February, or to check out online retailers such as Lazada and Shopee by end-March. 

BVLGARI announces sustainable flower farming initiative

Sense and sensibility? More like scents and sustainability. Luxury Roman Jeweler BVLGARI, which also owns Bvlgari Parfums, will be investing in a flower farming project called Flower Gems of India to create a new, sustainable jasmine farming model for 100 family-owned farms in India. Built in partnership with perfume designer Firmenich and local partner Jasmine Concrete, the initiative provides an alternative approach to jasmine production, which will help to improve farmers' profits, produce richer quality of flowers and improve the social and economic well-being of the local communities.

Gal Gadot's upcoming Nat Geo documentary aims to empower women 



A true Wonder Woman on and off-screen, actress Gal Gadot will be taking on the role of executive producer for an upcoming short-form documentary for National Geographic. Titled #impact, the six-part series follows the stories of young women from all the world who overcome obstacles and go on to do extraordinary things. Taking to Instagram to announce her latest initiative, Gal Gadot shared: “I’m deeply honoured to bring awareness to these young women who are the true heroes among us.” Go, #girlpower!
