Netflix is once again spicing up the holiday season because the hit Korean reality dating show Single’s Inferno is back for Season 3!

But first, what can we expect from this new season? It seems that the producers have turned the dial up on the challenges and chances to fly to Paradise compared to the previous season.
For Season 3, Jin-young or Dex — the popular cast member in Season 2 who stole most of the ladies’ hearts — is back as a host. Kudos to the production team for making this decision because he definitely makes the conversations among the panel feel lively and fresh.
Last season, we were initially introduced to nine people, and towards the finale, two more people came aboard. This time around, we met six people and found out that there were five other people in a different Inferno. Another contestant might join in, but we’ll have to wait and see.
The ingredients for the meals in the Inferno seem to be more sparse in this season. As Dex said, Paradise will feel more special after this. And it’s true, we get picturesque date locations with pretty sunset views and mouth-watering food.
Things are moving fast too in this season. Most of the cast members have already visited Paradise once or twice, so we got to know their ages and occupations in the show. If you’re curious to know more about them, we’ve rounded them up right here.
Lee Gwan-hee is a professional basketball player. As of the moment, he’s probably the most confident about himself among all the guys in the cast. But will this last long? Let’s wait and see.
Kim Gyu-ri is a 28-year-old fashion and beauty model. While introducing herself, she came off as someone sure that she would be getting all the guys’ attention. But she was “humbled”, as the panel of hosts said, when she didn’t get any dates on the first day. She then switched up her strategy and got all three votes of the guys on Inferno on the second day. One of the contestants said she gives off pageant girl vibes.
Choi Hye-seon is a 26-year-old college student majoring in bioinformatics in the Life Sciences Department. She studies at Ewha Womans University, one of the top private schools in Korea.
Choi Min-woo’s background hasn’t been revealed yet on the show. He seems to be a fashion model. We don’t know why he hasn’t been chosen yet, because he gives off the vibe that he’s a kind and loyal guy (he even struggled to build a fire so that he and a fellow contestant could cook when they were left behind on the island).
At first glance, you’d think that 31-year-old Lee Jin-seok was an athlete like what his first date in Paradise said. But he’s actually a bakery and café owner. Will he get a happy ending like his fellow-café owner
Jong-woo from Season 2? We sure hope so!
An Min-young is a 26-year-old Pilates instructor as well as the director of her own studio. She’s also Miss Busan 2023 who gives off youthful and bubbly vibes (which melted the heart of the intimidating Lee Jin-seok).
34-year-old Park Min-kyu is like an actor straight out of an action movie. With his physique, he already won two trips to Paradise in two days. He’s a member of the Korea Coast Guard’s Sea Special Rescue Team.
Son Won-ik’s age and field of work have yet to be revealed on the show. We’re betting he’s a model too, but there’s probably more to that than meets the eye.
Yun Ha-bin got netizens commenting on how he looks similar to
Hometown Cha Cha Cha star
Kim Seon-ho. And while we don’t know much about him yet, eagle-eyed viewers remember him as one of the actors in
My Demon.
26-year-old Yun Ha-jeong is a medical clothing company employee. It seems like she’s the most confident about herself among the girls, and it’s like Gwang-hee has met his match. But you have to expect the unexpected in this show till the last episode reveals the final pairings.
While she hasn’t been to Paradise yet, viewers in Korea know Yu Si-eun as a 26-year-old influencer and the first runner-up of the 2022 Miss Korea competition. She actually knows Yun Ha-jeong outside of the show and it’s intriguing to watch their interactions. She also looks similar to
BLACKPINK’s Jennie.
