Park Shin Hye married K-actor Choi Tae Joon (Suspicious Partner) in January 2022. They welcomed their first child in May 2022. They had a star-studded wedding guest list, where EXO’s D.O. and singer Crush serenaded guests with Beautiful from the K-drama Goblin.


2. Park Shin Hye has a brother


The entertainment forces are strong in this family! Park Shin Hye’s older brother is Park Shin Won, a guitarist and composer.


3. She started her career as a child actress, but she had a different childhood dream



Park Shin Hye began her acting career when she was just 13 years old. She gained recognition for her roles in dramas like Stairway to Heaven and Tree of Heaven. You may have also recognised her in one of her earlier works, The Heirs, which stars Lee Min-Ho.

She aspired to be a police officer before becoming an actress. This dream originated from a childhood experience when her family's home was robbed.

Park Shin Hye is a fur mum to two adorable cats and two dogs. She has featured her pets on Instagram, sharing their heartwarming with her fans. After marrying Choi Tae Joon — who also has two cats — they now have six pets!


5. She’s a philanthropist


Park Shin Hye may have taken on the role of a character with villainous vibes on-screen. However, in real life, she’s known for her generous, philanthropic efforts. She has been working with the Starlight Angel Project, which aims to help alleviate hunger in Korea and overseas. She was also lauded in 2020 for donating about 90,000 sanitary pads for girls from low-income families through the Hope Friend Project.

The Judge From Hell: cast, plot and where to stream it


The Judge From Hell sees Park Shin Hye playing a demon-turned-cold-hearted-judge named Kang Bit Na. After receiving a “demotion”, she enters the human realm with the task of killing evil people who show no remorse for their actions. She crosses paths with Han Da On (played by Love In Contract actor Kim Jae Young) who greatly empathises with the victims of his cases. Da On may just hold the key to helping Bit Na complete her mission.

You can now stream Episodes 1 and 2 of the 14-episode K-drama The Judge from Hell on Disney+ Singapore. New ones will be out every Friday and Saturday.
