Quarantine but make it fashion? The #QuarantinePillowChallenge has people getting creative with their WFH outfits using bedding, of all things. Instagram user @stylebynelli started the challenge with a photo of her wearing a blue pillow secured by a chunky black belt, captioned with the words “Laundry Day.” Since then, this pillow-as-a-minidress trend has taken off. Ahead are some of our favourites.
Matching accessories
Clozette Ambassador Carinn Tan (also known as carerynn) takes on the quarantine pillow challenge by styling her cream pillow with black accessories. Her black belt pairs perfectly with her small black purse. Topping the look of are gold details courtesy of her belt, purse and hoop earrings.
Fashion maven
Clozetter Ambassador Crystal Phuong's take on the pillow challenge makes us think of the outdoors. Accentuating her hourglass shape, she cinches her big blue pillow with a brown leather belt cinched at the waist. The highlight of the outfit: her strappy gladiator heels. Oversized sunnies — indoors — finish off the look.
Blue hues
Meanwhile, it's a silky royal blue pillowcase for Harper's Bazaar Vietnam's Editor-In-Chief Venus Tran's quarantine pillow challenge entry. She adds some fun details by wearing towering sky blue heels — and a grand piano as a prop. This is an outfit that can be totally worn outside... if the pillow were a real dress, of course.
A full face of makeup
While Vanessa keeps her pillow outfit pretty minimal with just a leopard print belt and gold accessories, she chooses to go ham with her makeup! The perfectly arched brows and bold red lipstick make this a totally glamorous shot.
White with a touch of luxe
Singer and personal trainer Vangie Tang staves off the boredom with her quarantine pillow challenge. For this, she goes for a simple white pillow while jazzing it up with her Chanel purse and clear strappy heels. She keeps it real with her background — does anyone else have a messy bedroom right now?

Logomania is taken to a whole new level with Puka Nguyen’s shot for the quarantine pillow challenge. Turning a Gucci pillowcase and comforter into a glamorously plush high-low dress? It's possible.
