A Y2K accessory to add to your collection

In recent years, you would find brand collaborations that you might not have imagined happening. We’re talking food and footwear collabs or gaming consoles and luxury fashion house partnerships. It has since been more common to find these unusual pairings – which actually work! – and 2023 is not a stranger to these. Check out the new OPPO collaboration with fashion brand AMBUSH, which you can now get your hands on in Singapore.

The OPPO X AMBUSH Flipped Padlock

Just last week, smart device brand OPPO announced that they are teaming up with AMBUSH for a special tech-meets-fashion collaboration for the OPPO Find N3 Flip phone. The result? A ‘Flipped Padlock’ phone accessory that’s designed exclusively for the Find N3 Flip!

The pink heart-shaped padlock phone case is inspired by the Heart Padlock Bag designed by AMBUSH Creative Director YOON. The unique design combines vintage and modern designs, and is a perfect Y2K accessory for the younger generation.

"I've been a sci-fi fan since I was a kid, and technology development has always inspired my designs. The return of the Flip phone trend has brought me back to the late 1990s, a pivotal time in fashion, when futuristic styles were on the rise, and people started using style as a status symbol. This collaboration explores how the smartphone, our most-used technology product, can become an extension of who we are,” YOON said.

Where to get it in Singapore

The OPPO x AMBUSH Flipped Padlock is now available in Singapore. Each purchase of the Find N3 Flip (SGD1499) on the OPPO online store, OPPO retail stores, official Lazada and Shopee, and StarHub entitles you to the Flipped Padlock phone case.

Take note that stocks in Singapore are limited to 500 only.

What do you think of this phone case?
