Review: Quincy House serviced apartment in Holland Village, Singapore

Opened last October, Quincy House is a 10-minute walk from Holland Village MRT and just four stops from Orchard Road. Its modern exterior contrasts with warm, earthy interiors designed for a cosy, inviting atmosphere.

Our check-in experience

Left - the reception of Quincy House Singapore during the holiday season was a delightful sight. Right - Choose from one of three Quincy juice shots.

Upon arrival at the reception on level 2, my partner and I were welcomed with our choice of Quincy juice shots and a Quincy Qurate neighbourhood guide, which offers recommendations and exclusive perks. A staff member also snapped a polaroid of us in the stylish lobby as a keepsake for us to remember this experience. We appreciated the thoughtful touch to make us feel a little more relaxed and welcome.

Left - Alfresco kitchen. Right - Breezy hangout spots. Both accessible via level 2.

Level 2 also features an air-conditioned lounge, a 24-hour snack bar, a coffee/tea station, and an alfresco kitchen. Quincy House offers a weekday ‘grab-and-go’ breakfast service too.

Inside our Quincy House One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment

Clear views of the Holland Village neighbourhood from our One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment.

Spanning 473 square feet, our One-Bedroom Deluxe apartment felt like a chic home away from home. Quincy House offers four room types, with the largest being a two-bedroom deluxe apartment for up to four guests. It offers housekeeping services, and pet-friendly options are available as well.

Well-equipped kitchenette for home cooking adventures

The kitchenette was a highlight for us. Unlike hotel rooms, we prefer staying in serviced apartments as it lets us cook our own meals. (A medium rare steak, tossed salad, and a generous serving of pasta were on our menu.) The kitchenette includes a full-sized refrigerator, induction hob and hood, glassware, crockery and cutlery. Plus, a microwave, an electric kettle, a toaster and surprise, surprise! — a rice cooker.

Stylish corners to live, dine and rest in

Quiet, conducive, and chic. We worked, played and lived the relaxing staycation life at Quincy House.

The living and dining area has a sofa, a 55-inch LED television (TV) with subscribed channels, a telephone, and a dining table and chairs. The TV supports Netflix and smartphone casting. The ensuite bedroom has a king or queen-sized bed, a 43-inch LED TV, and a work-friendly setup with power plugs. We loved how the apartment incorporated natural materials and textures to elevate the mood of the space.

Modern bathroom with a rain shower

Modern and minimalistic bathroom.

The bathroom was also pretty spectacular, in our POV. Sleek and spacious, it came with a rain shower, flattering mirror lights, a washlet, bath and hand towels, and bath amenities from Kevin Murphy.

Other standout features that made Quincy House a spectacular stay

The Fitness and Laundry Room at Quincy House Singapore

Left - The Fitness Room. Right - The Laundry Room.

Beyond their stylish, fully-furnished apartments, Quincy House is also home to The Lounge, a rooftop BBQ area, The Fitness Room offering floor-to ceiling-windows with a view, The Laundry Room, a self-service launderette, and a rooftop pool that is scenic, quiet and private.
