It’s GRAMMY season, and we love this year’s glam looks! The 2023 GRAMMYs is running in its 65th year and it has just wrapped up and given out awards to the best recordings, compositions and artists. Here’s your quick guide to the show-stopping glam looks that all deserve the top prize in our book.
5 Winning Glam Looks At The 2023 GRAMMYs
1. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift once again proved the power of her latest Midnights album on the red carpet. Similar to her VMAs 2022 look in which she wore a full-on bejewelled suit, she once again stole the show with her dazzling navy crop top and skirt by Roberto Cavalli, which reminded us of a twinkling night sky. But she didn’t stop there and donned a glamorous pair of Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings.
Taylor is now officially an award-winning director with her GRAMMY win for Best Music Video with All Too Well: The Short Film. She’s bringing home her 12th gramophone.
2. Doja Cat
Doja Cat really knows how to pull off a jaw-dropping look. After stunning the world during Paris Fashion Week last January with her head-to-toe outfit made with 30,000 Swarovski crystals, she’s once again the talk of the town with her all-black latex Versace gown that simply exudes power and dominance. Her entire look gave us mesmerising goth mermaid vibes.
She was nominated for five awards: Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video for ‘Woman’, Best Rap Performance for ‘Vegas’, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘I Like You (A Happier Song)’.
3. Kim Petras
Kim Petras lit up the red carpet with her fiery vintage red dress by Victor Costa and topped it off with a matching red veil. She also wore a huge burgundy necklace and made it seem as if wearing it was a breeze.
Kim and Sam Smith took home the GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Unholy’, making her the very first transwoman to ever win in the category.
4. Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha has joined the Barbiecore trend. She wore a low-cut bright pink Moschino cross-halter gown. Compared to her 2019 GRAMMYs look in which she wore a billowy red gown, her look for this year isn’t as dramatic but it’s still a look that’s every bit fit for a princess.
She was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “I’m Good (Blue)”.
5. Lizzo
Lizzo brought us to a fantastical wonderland with her bright orange floor-length Dolce and Gabbana gown that looks like a comfy wearable garden. She’s got orange flowers on her hair and nails too.
Not only did Lizzo dominate the red carpet, but she made history with her first ‘Big Four’ category win. Her ‘About Damn Time’ track got her the GRAMMY for Record of the Year and beat out other worldwide hits such as Harry Styles’ ‘As It Was’, Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’, and more.
