This Makeup Trend On TikTok Is The Key To A Great Passport Photo

From drab to fab

It's a universal truth that taking a good passport photo is hard — but not anymore. Enter TikTok’s Passport Makeup! This beauty trend quickly went viral for its effectiveness in giving you that natural-looking yet polished beauty look.

How to do TikTok’s Passport Makeup trend

You’re stuck with your passport photo for 10 years so there’s definitely some pressure to make it look great. Beauty influencer Georgia Barratt spills the beans on how you can do it easily using the Passport Makeup look.

First, she lifts up her brows using a Schwarzkopf’s Got2b Glued. While this particular product is not yet available in Singapore, you can substitute it with any clear brow gel you have available in your kit. Next, she puts on The Beauty Crop’s Rose Glow Hydrating Primer (USD14.99/~SGD21 per 20ML) to prep her skin. After, she applies a few drops of the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (SGD78 per 30ML). She finishes the base by putting The Beauty Crop’s Vitamin Babe Concealer (USD12.99/~SGD18 per tube) on her undereye area.

Next, she “carves” her brows by using a light concealer. Georgia explains that this will make the eyes look more symmetrical. She moves on to contouring and applies bronzer to her temples, to the top of her cheekbones, to the sides of her chin, to the bottom of her nose, and to the outer corner of the eyes.

After that, she puts on a light concealer in the space between her brows, her tear duct and at her eyes’ outer V. Next, a little bit of blush and light concealer is applied to the cheeks. Georgia sets the look by combining loose powders She Glam Insta-Ready (USD6.49/~SGD9 per pan) and Maybelline Fit Me (SGD15.90 per pan). She then restores warmth to the skin by using Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer (SGD53 per 8G). Finally, she goes with a “foxy” eyeliner and overlined lips.

Several Singaporeans have adopted this look and found great results! Some tweaked the steps by putting on more blush to suit their own features.
