On the lookout for makeup that’s fit for a queen? MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to create a limited-edition makeup collection.
It’s inspired by the mesmerising world and story of Wakanda as well as the grit and grace of its warriors.
MAC x Black Panther Makeup Collection: pieces
The collection aims to bring out the strength of a hero in you and help you create your own epic moments. It features lavish, saturated hues that were designed to look fantastic for everyone, especially those with rich skin tones. Each of the pieces has Black Panther-inspired packaging.
For your base, the collection includes the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in two shades, the Royal Challenge (warm rose-flecked gold shade) and the Royal Vibrancy (a golden chocolate bronze). It’s priced at MYR198 or around SGD59.23 each.
For the eyes, the collection’s eyeshadow palette (MYR230 or around SGD68.80) offers an all-new eight-pan palette. It has a creamy texture that seeks to deliver intense and vibrant colours without giving you the feeling of heaviness. It includes jewel tones, earthy mattes, and shimmery metallics. The collection also includes MAC’s Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Eyeliner (MYR120 or around SGD35.89) and Eye Kohl (MYR102 or around SGD30.51).
To complete your look, the lipsticks in the collection offer four provocative shades with memorable names such as the Wakandan Sunset (cool fuchsia), Dora Milaje (matte blue-red) Royal Integrity (matte brown), and the Story of Home (pinkish neutral). Each one is priced at MYR101 or around SGD30.21. MAC’s Lipglass (MYR99 or around SGD29.65) is also part of this collection in the shade Feelin’ It, a translucent gold.
