Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty has gone under the radar ever since the brand announced its plans for a relaunch in July 2021. Now, fans can get a whiff of the reality TV star’s other product releases such as her upcoming KKW Fragrance collection created in partnership with floral designer Jeff Leatham, which will arrive on 27 January.
Who is Jeff Leatham?
Jeff Leatham is an American model-turned-floral-designer who has a star-studded celebrity clientele. He has created exquisite floral decor for Oprah Winfrey and is also the Kardashians’ go-to guru for all things floral. He currently serves as the Artistic Director of Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia and Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills.
What is the collection about?
The Jeff Leatham II by KKW Fragrance collection features three floral scents: Caramel Orchid, Rare Fig and Iconic Gardenia. Created to celebrate Valentine’s Day, it highlights a “wide range of romantic blooms with a touch of warm, sugared confections.”
Caramel Orchid boasts a “sugary mix” of deep cocoa, salted caramel and davana (a herb) with light florals and a cloud-like musk. Rare Fig is the collection’s “most unisex fragrance” with crisp citrus and earthy green notes including vetiver, cedarwood and dried fig. Iconic Gardenia — Kim’s favourite of the lot — has feminine gardenia, sweet honeysuckle, sparkling mandarin, buttery tuberose and rich tonka bean.
This is the second time that KKW Fragrance has teamed up with Jeff Leatham to launch a fragrance collection. The first collaboration range between the two was released in April 2021.
