The Goodman Arts Centre’s annual open house is back with programmes spanning art forms including music, dance and visual arts for families. Held for one day only, the event includes a mix of free and ticketed programmes, such as an urban art jam led by Singaporean artist EBAO and a sound bath experience by musician Neil Chua. The open house will also feature several pop-up food stalls for visitors to grab a quick bite.

2. Stranger Things - The Encounter: Singapore at Bugis+

Ready to embark on an inter-dimensional adventure? ‘Stranger Things - The Encounter’ arrives in Singapore on 30 June 2023.


Strangers Things fans, you won’t want to miss this: The Mighty Jaxx Group has teamed up with Netflix to present an interactive retail experience showcasing iconic locations from the TV series. Be prepared to journey through ‘The Lab’, ‘Joyce’s House’, ‘The Upside Down’, and ‘Creel House’ before treating yourself to Scoops Ahoy ice cream and Surfer Boy Pizza.

Fans are also welcome to make a pit stop at the Starcourt Mall Arena to get their hands on special Stranger Things merchandise and the Stranger Things Visitor Center for photo opportunities.

3. Katsushika Hokusai-inspired high tea experience at SKAI

This is your last chance to experience a bespoke high tea experience inspired by the renowned print series, Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji at SKAI on level 70 of Swissotel The Stamford before it ends on 1 July 2023. Organised in partnership with ARTiSTORY and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the event will help guests learn more about the artist Katsushika Hokusai and his renowned artworks. The afternoon tea treats also feature a subtle Japanese influence.

The local pastry brand has opened its second store in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, which serves up a new menu of handcrafted pies (sweet and savoury) and beverages. With its cosy yet minimalist-looking interiors, the store has become a new favourite among cafegoers on TikTok.

9. Dioriviera pop-up at Tanjong Beach Club

From The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles to the Ember Beach Club in One&Only Desaru Coast, Malaysia and now at Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore, Dior has pulled out all of the stops in giving luxury lovers the ultimate vacation experience as it presents its Dioriviera capsule collection. The pop-up, which was graced by K-pop actor and singer Cha Eun Woo, features a swimming pool, Dior day beds with the brand’s signature Toile de Jouy print and a café for beachgoers to lounge in style.

10. L’Occitane Hotel Singapore Pop-Up Event

‘Check in’ to the L’OCCITANE Hotel pop-up, which arrives in Singapore on 28 June 2023.


Beauty brand L’OCCITANE is bringing its biggest and most immersive pop-up event to Singapore. Named L’OCCITANE Hotel, the pop-up will invite visitors to embark on a “nature-inspired sensory journey” featuring immersive projection rooms, such as an “Almond Forest”, and an “Immortelle Flower Field”. There will also be an “Almond Spa”, a “5 Essential Oils Bar”, an “Immortelle Suite” and a gift shop for visitors to shop for their favourite L’OCCITANE products.

11. Wellness Festival Singapore 2023

This year’s Wellness Festival Singapore features more than 180 activities taking place islandwide, including a ‘sky-high’ spin class by Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford.


This year’s Wellness Festival Singapore will see more than 180 activities taking place across 10 precincts islandwide, including a Wellness Experience Space multi-sensory pop-up at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza and activations across Jewel Changi Airport, Sentosa, National Gallery Singapore, and more.

Running for three weeks, visitors will be able to explore a wide range of wellness offerings that cater to different preferences, ages and abilities. Love getting caffeinated? 12. Avengers: Beyond Earth’s Mightiest at Jewel Changi Airport

Avengers lovers, assemble! Catch a series of Avengers-themed activities and photo spots at Jewel Changi Airport. Head over to the HSBC Rain Vortex indoor waterfall to witness a 2-minute Marvel Avengers-inspired Light & Sound Showcase and water projections of The Wasp flying across it.

Stop by the Shiseido Forest Valley and spot a 5-metre-tall Iron Man statue, interactive Avengers-themed photo spots, and larger-than-life installations. There’s also an Avengers Forever exhibition at Canopy Park that chronicles the history and events of The Avengers.

This new contemporary art installation by Singaporean artist Kapilan Naidu looks to document and reimagine the experiences and memories of the many people who have lived, worked and played in the Jurong neighbourhood. This is also the third and last edition of Art in the Commons: Data Visualising Jurong, a programme presented by the Singapore Art Museum in collaboration with Science Centre Singapore to uncover community interests within the Jurong district.

Asia’s leading sustainable light festival returns this year with 14 light art installations and a line-up of programmes. Presented by DBS, this year’s i Light Singapore 2023 Festival has brought together 22 artists from eight countries, whose works are curated to the festival’s theme A New Wave and inspired by the colour blue.

Food, beverage and music festival GastroBeats will be back as well and will be located within the Festival Village at Bayfront Event Space. Visitors will be able to taste cuisines from 50 homegrown food and beverage vendors; tune into live performances by local musicians, and participate in carnival games.

Love is in the air at the upcoming ‘Rose Romance’ seasonal floral display at Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay. Presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Singapore, the display will transport your sights and senses to the region of Puglia in southern Italy, which is famed for its whitewashed hill towns, or ‘trulli’, which are limestone houses with conical roofs.

Singapore Zoo celebrates its 50th year anniversary on 27 June 2023. To commemorate this special milestone, it has launched ART-ZOO Happy ZOObilee, which features eight animals presented in larger-than-life inflatables or 2D sculptures. This programme includes a 21-metre-long inflatable art playground, an Instagram-worthy Happy ZOObilee trail, animal interaction sessions and craft workshops. Learn more here.
