Nike and Hello Kitty had a collaboration for Nike Air Presto in 2004, but it never saw the light of day. Now that the silhouette is said to make a comeback soon, the collab is reportedly back in full swing. Rumours suggest that aside from the Air Presto sneakers getting a Hello Kitty makeover, Nike will also release a shirt and a pair of shorts clad in Sanrio’s most popular and beloved character.
It’s not the first time that Sanrio and Hello Kitty to collaborate with fashion and lifestyle brands. There’s the Razer collab that includes covetable Kitty-themed headphones. There was also the Danielle Nicole handbag collection. Hello Kitty x Converse happened too.
All these make us excited about the Hello Kitty x Nike collection! No release date has been announced yet, but make sure to watch this space for further updates.
