This version of the Loewe Elephant Bag is crafted from woven raffia and features a colourful eye design that’s hand-beaded by Samburu artisans.

The beadwork featured in the Loewe Elephant Bag reflects the Samburu culture.

This particular way of doing beadwork stems from a centuries-old tradition of the Samburu people. The same vibrant look is seen in the patterned collars, headdresses and jewellery of the Samburu.

The durable basket bag also has a convenient shoulder top handle and a raffia tie closure to safely secure your belongings. Want to take home one? The Loewe Elephant Bag is now available on the brand’s official website (offers shipping to Singapore) for USD1,150/~SGD1,612.

If you’re visiting New York City between 7 and 27 July, you can stop by Bergdorf Goodman’s store windows on 5th Avenue to see the special display of the Elephant Bag prepared by LOEWE and Knot On My Planet.
