Dua Lipa to launch a podcast and a lifestyle platform

From singer to podcaster? Dua Lipa is set to come out with the At Your Service Podcast, where she will have high-profile guests share about their expertise on different topics. The podcast will be part of her new lifestyle platform called Service95, where she will share travel tips, recommendations, and a personally penned newsletter. Dua also seeks to "address global concerns and encourage meaningful conversations", according to Hypebae, through the platform. We'll have to wait just a bit longer though — the platform and podcast will be available starting January 2022.

BTS wins Artist of the Year at the 2021 American Music Awards

ICYMI, BTS became the first Asian act to win Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards (AMAs). The K-pop group, who also won Best Pop Song and Best Performance As A Duo or Group, also performed their songs "Butter" and "My Universe". Other notable awardees include Taylor Swift for Best Pop/Rock Female Artist, Olivia Rodrigo for Best New Artist, and Latina singer Becky G for Best Female Latin Artist.

This just in: LUSH Cosmetics announced that they will cease releasing news about their new products on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat. This move was made to pressure the social media platforms to foster a safer environment for its users. "I’ve spent all my life avoiding putting harmful ingredients in my products. There is now overwhelming evidence we are being put at risk when using social media. I’m not willing to expose my customers to this harm, so it’s time to take it out of the mix,” shared LUSH co-founder and CEO Mark Constantine OBE. The no-social media policy takes effect in all 48 countries where LUSH operates, including Singapore and the Philippines, starting today 26 November.

Speaking of collabs, UNIQLO is set to come out with the 2021 Fall/Winter PETER RABBIT Digital Collection Book. The digital pop-up book uses augmented reality to bring to life Beatrix Potter’s beloved characters in 3D. Peter Rabbit characters will also be featured in the upcoming UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON collection in the form of unisex sweatshirts and oversized T-shirts, which will arrive in stores in Singapore this December.
