Famed makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath’s beauty brand is launching its first skincare product is an essence called Divine Skin: Rose 001 which promises to hydrate and revitalise your complexion. This is a welcome addition to her brand, which has given us countless high-quality makeup products that truly live up to the hype. Here’s hoping this skincare product also delivers!
Pat McGrath Labs’ Divine Skin: Rose 001 The Essence ingredients
The essence features two key ingredients. The first is Rose Biotic extracted from Damascena rose, which is packed with antioxidants that fight skin damage caused by free radicals. The other is HydraSphere 18, which is a specially developed emulsion that’s boosted with oils and ceramides to deliver instant hydration.
You need to shake the bottle thoroughly to combine these two key ingredients before tapping the essence onto your skin. Like other essences, it’s best used after cleansing and toning.
It was developed with the help of a South Korean lab and features a fast-absorbing milky liquid texture. It is also non-comedogenic and is free from silicone, parabens, sulfate, gluten, mineral oil, petrolatum and phthalates.
The famed makeup artist revealed in an interview that she has been working on skincare products for as long as she’s been working with makeup. So the Divine Skin: Rose 001 The Essence has been years in the making! Dame Patricia also shared that she’s been testing the essence on supermodels including Naomi Campbell who swears that she doesn’t go a day without it and that she’s “obsessed with the results”. Now that’s a recommendation!
