It was lightweight, comfortable & brightened my appearance. I absolutely love this formula as it didn't make me feel oily even after a whole day out, it wasn't sticky and the white cast isn't bad at all. Less is key!

Would purchase on my own
I was pleasantly surprised by its lightweight texture. I love the addition of the pale pink tint as it helped to illuminate my skin and leaves a nice shine to it as well. Although it's a serum, it feels almost like I'm just putting sunscreen on. But I am happy that it not only protects my skin from the sun, but has skincare benefits to it as well. Overall, would purchase this product on my own :)

Worth using under makeup
Feels hydrating, non-sticky. However, it leaves a white cast and the white cast that takes a long time to fade or sink into the skin. Skin will look unnaturally bright and white or whitish-pink. Worth using under makeup, but not as a standalone sunscreen with no makeup over it. Due to the white cast/white pink cast.

A mix of a makeup base and sunscreen
Anessa Day Serum is a good sunscreen in that it works and does not feel heavy on the face. However formula is thicker and less easy to spread. Product is slightly pink to help brighten skin tone, so it feels like a mix of a makeup base and sunscreen which is convenient.

I like the lightweight texture
I like the lightweight texture of it. Makes application easy and quickly gets absorbed into my skin. However it does leave a slight white cast, but not an issue for me as I usually apply concealer/foundation after. Always wanted to try out Anessa's products but never knew which would be suitable as they have so many different versions of sunscreen. Glad to have been picked to try this Day Serum! Very light non-greasy liquid like texture, it's much more comfortable than applying the normal sunscreen. Has a slight brightening effect and can act as make-up base. Does not have the icky powdery feeling too unlike some make-up bases. Smell is also very mild (much milder compared to the Anessa sunblock), hence suitable for those who don't like the strong sunscreen smell. It's a very lightweight product suitable for daily use.

Will definitely use on a daily basis
I used the serum as a base layer before I put my foundation. serum smells nice and it comes out easily, in a smooth manner unlike other products. After applying on face and blending, it gives a natural glow to the face. Most important of all, it doesn't feel sticky at all so it's more towards a lightweight serum which I'll definitely use it on a daily basis. The serum has SPF 50++ which is a bonus to the product.

Not a fan of the shimmer
The brightening effect makes my skin tone look pasty. Feels comfortable on the skin but gets oily after a few hours, I'm not a fan of the shimmer as it rubs off on my clothes and mask. I like that it doesn't sting my eyes and the scent is nice. I would recommend this sunscreen if the person has a fair complexion and dry to normal skin type. I prefer the scent of this to Perfect UV Sunscreen skincare milk

One of the best tone-up products I've used
Surprisingly does not stain mask, non-shiny but brighter finish. A good product but not suited to my habits since I hardly ever use tone-up products. Nevertheless, one of the best tone-up products I've used, but quite expensive.

Only need a small amount for my face

I love the texture, tint, and brightening effect
I love the highly spreadable texture, the tint, tone-up & brightening effect too. I have a question. Since this product is called Day Serum with sun protection properties, do I still required to apply another layer of sunblock on top of it? This is because most products (day cream/foundation) in the market comes with this sun protection properties but it is not sufficient to replace sunblock.

Nice coverage for no-foundation days
It felt sticky and oily upon application, but after a min or so it was absorbed and settled nicely into my skin and the greasy feeling was gone! The slight tint the sunscreen has adds a nice light coverage on days I don't want to wear foundation.

I feel so much more confident to go out
As a mom of 2 on weekdays I'd take one of my kids to school, to & fro under the hot sun, this product came in nicely after my son's first week of school. It cast a little whitish effect on the skin after application, so the key is not to apply too much of it. I like that the serum does not leave a sticky feeling on the skin after application.

It's a typical Japanese sunscreen kind of product. I can smell it quite strong and gives my skin a more radiant look. It's not as light as I wish it would be but works as a sunscreen for everyday.

Extremely pleasant formula and texture
Formula and texture are extremely pleasant, with no white cast. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed this serum meets sunscreen. It was really pleasant to wear, left no white cast and left my skin moisturized. While I didn't yet test it long enough to get a sense of any brightening capacities, I will definitely look to buying this and using it as my next sunscreen. A really nice product that works well with SG heat!

The Serum is of a watery consistency and is absorbed very quickly into the skin. It doesn't really have a significant tone-up effect. Other than that, it seems to be moisturising with a pretty matte like finish that I usually associate with sunscreens.
