1. Watch: Miss Saigon the musical
The creators of Les Miserables, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, have joined hands to present the new production of Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon. Making its way to Singapore shores, fans of the award-winning musical will be able to catch it at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands for a limited season, starting from 15 August 2024.
Miss Saigon follows the story of Kim, a young Vietnamese woman who is orphaned by war. She is forced to work in a bar run by a notorious character known as the Engineer. Events unfold where she falls in love with an American G.I named Chris, but the couple is torn apart by the fall of Saigon. Kim goes on a journey of survival where she spends three years finding her way back to Chris, who has no idea he fathered a son.

2. Shangri-La Singapore x Sisley Afternoon Tea Experience

3. POP Toy Show
The second edition of the POP Toy Show is themed Dimoo in the Garden City. Fans of the adorable character will get to shop more than four event-exclusive Dimoo drops and snap photos at the character’s booth featuring its life-sized sculpture.
In addition to Dimoo, event attendees will also get to meet and greet artists including Lang, artist of Hirono, Xue Chen, artist of Sweet Bean, and Yumi, artist of Pino Jelly. 4. Singapore Night Festival 2024

Turn down the lights, ‘cause Singapore’s largest nocturnal experience is making its highly-anticipated return on 23 August 2024! Themed The Art of Play, the annual festival features 50 programmes, including programmes, workshops and projection mapping artworks.

5. Blue Bottle Coffee pop-up gift shop at LUMINE Raffles City
Popular Oakland-founded coffee chain Blue Bottle Coffee is set to make its Southeast Asian debut at the new LUMINE Singapore global flagship store in Raffles City Shopping Centre. Fans of the coffee brand will have the opportunity to view an exhibition charting its journey, shop the brand’s range of instant coffee and premium matcha offerings, drink ware and accessories, as well as get their hands on an exclusive reversible tote bag.
The gift shop will be open for a limited time only, but keep your eyes peeled — the brand revealed that this is the “first step for a broader introduction of the full Blue Bottle Coffee experience planned for Singapore.”

6. Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience
Making its Asia Pacific debut this August, this colourful and multi-sensory experience aims to inspire visitors to “reconnect with their emotions and bodily sensations.” Travel through the 11 themed areas including an enormous bubble bath ball pit, a virtual reality room and an undersea LED room as you reconnect with your inner child.

7. Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Library pop-up
Is Victoria’s Secret ready for its comeback? They might be, as the brand has been teasing the upcoming return of its fashion show. Till then, the brand has also staged a ‘Bombshell Library’ pop-up to highlight its best-selling fragrance range. The range features four fragrances, which are priced at SGD149 each per 100ML.
