Looking for ways to beat the heat? There’s always good old ice cream! Singaporean dessert parlour Udders and Sentosa team up to launch two ice cream flavours in celebration of the island resort’s 50th anniversary. And the best part is that they’re eco-friendly and carbon-neutral!
Udders Ice Cream x Sentosa Golden Jubilee: Flavours, price
The special edition ice cream comes in flavours that are inspired by Sentosa’s history as a former home to plantations and features refreshing fruity tastes.
There’s the Coco Palawan flavour which mixes the tanginess of pineapple and lime with the sweetness of coconuts. Meanwhile, the Mango Siloso flavour showcases the sweet-sour taste of juicy Alphonso mangoes and is topped off with pomelo pulp.
Both ice cream variants are preservative-free, gluten-free, egg-free, soy-free and nut-free. However, they are made in a facility that also processes soy and nuts.
On an Earth-friendly diet? You’ll be glad to know that Coco Palawan is vegetarian, while the Mango Siloso is suited for vegans. Both ice cream’s carbon profiles are also ascertained by Climate Resources Exchange International and then neutralised through Verra-certified carbon credits. Even the paper cups are certified by Forest Stewardship Council!
