Comfy, durable, with a dash of spontaneity. That’s what you get when Italian luxury brand Miu Miu teams up with New Balance for its Spring/Summer 2023 footwear collection.

New Balance x Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2023 collection
For Spring/Summer 2023, the two brands put their heads together once more and created three new designs: fringed denim in shades of blue, marble-effect cognac, and white vintage-looking nappa leather.

The first two designs, the New Balance 574 x Miu Miu denim sneakers and the New Balance 574 x Miu Miu marbleised denim sneakers (SGD1450), feature the classic sporty silhouette with raw-cut fringed edges. What’s the story behind this direction? Miu Miu hopes that the hybrid designs would allude to a construction process left exposed and emphasise spontaneity. But it’s also making us think of shredded or ripped jeans and giving us a Y2K feel.
The third design, the New Balance 574 x Miu Miu vintage-effect nappa leather sneakers, comes at a heavier price tag of SGD1,580. It’s made to give a “used look” and align with the collection’s theme of spontaneity.

The collection will be available for shipping to Singapore via Miu Miu’s official website by the end of February.
