Glossier Breaks Away From Its Usual With New G Suit Lipsticks

Love full glam looks? Then check this out — Glossier will launch its first opaque, demi-matte, and highly pigmented G Suit liquid lipsticks.

Glossier has been known for its sheer lip products such as the Generation Z and the Ultralip lipstick collections. So fans of the brand were divided about the new launch.

Some felt that G Suit was “off-brand” and shared comments that they preferred lip oils, tints, or stains instead. Others wanted Glossier to bring back certain releases (such as the discontinued Cherry Balm Dotcom). Read on to learn more about the new launch which sparked these discussions online.

The creators of the Glossier G Suit based the collection on the phrase “suit yourself” and aimed to develop pieces that would enhance the wearer’s personality and mood. It decided to release its first opaque, demi-matte lip product.

It comes in the brand’s signature baby-pink packaging with a little section at the bottom left clear so that you can easily find out the shade at a glance. Its shades are namely, Jet (blue-red⁣), Pilot (bright, cool pink⁣), Shift (deep burgundy⁣), Tempo (rich fuchsia berry⁣), Strike (burnt orange-red⁣), Lane (neutral, mauve brown⁣), Drive (rich, warm brown⁣), Curve (cool, dusty mauve⁣), and Flip (warm, peony pink).

Its formula includes promising ingredients such as shea butter and antioxidants for enriching your lips, black raspberry seed oil for moisturising, and orchid complex for effortless application.


Glossier G Suit price and release date in Singapore


The Glossier G Suit is priced at USD22 (or around SGD29.39). All shades will launch on 25 April on the brand’s website and on 5 May on Sephora (except for the Pilot shade) in the US. Stay tuned for more details on whether or not the collection will be available via Sephora Singapore.
