Dior Beauty is set to take its iconic graphic fashion print and make it the signature dressing of its upcoming beauty range. The collection, which is called the "New Look", will feature products dressed in the brand's emblematic black and white houndstooth pattern with a modern twist.
"Christian Dior was one of the first to introduce this traditionally masculine fabric pattern into his infinitely elegant couture creations. This daring shift inspired me to create this limited-edition makeup collection, the New Look collection," shared Dior Makeup Creative and Image Director Peter Philips.
The collection will star the Dior Forever Couture Perfect Cushion in the modernised houndstooth pattern casing. It will be available in two finishes — luminous matte and dewy glow — and in the popular shades 0N, 1N, and 2N. A brand new, collection-exclusive shade of 00 will also be available.
The New Look Collection also includes the Rouge Dior in six curated shades — from rosewoods to fiery reds — and four finishes of matte, velvet, satin, and metallic. To make the special collection more special, Peter Philips also designed the 312 Incandescent shade, a milky nude hue with a hint of yellow and a satin finish. Aside from the houndstooth packaging on the bullet casing, the pattern is also embossed on the lipstick itself. Both the cushion foundation and lipsticks will be refillable.
You will also see the iconic pattern gracing the glass bottles of select La Collection Privée Fragrances: Gris Dior, Lucky, and Jasmin des Anges.
The Dior Beauty New Look limited edition collection will be available in Singapore at Dior's ION store and in Malaysia at the Dior Pavilion KL boutique starting January 2022.
