It’s official: Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement. The award-winning 49-year-old actress is making a comeback with the Netflix movie Back In Action, in which she will co-star with Jamie Foxx.

Cameron stepped away from the spotlight and paused from taking on major projects in 2014, after more than two decades in the entertainment industry. The Charlie’s Angels star shared that she found peace in retirement but also stated that the possibility of returning to the limelight one day is not ruled out. Well, the day has come!

Back In Action: Plot, cast, release date
The plot of Back In Action is still kept under wraps although it is confirmed to be an action-comedy movie that will be directed by Seth Gordon and will be following a script that’s co-written by Neighbors writer Brendan O’Brien. Knowing this, we may be looking forward to a goofy movie!
The complete cast and release date of Back In Action are also yet to be revealed. However, Jamie Foxx has shared that production will start “later this year”.
