BTS rapper J-Hope is ready to make a splash at Lollapalooza, a music festival held annually in Chicago, USA. This makes J-Hope the first South Korean idol to headline a major music festival’s main stage in the US and may pave way for more Asian artists to appear in similarly esteemed music events.
J-Hope is set to perform on 31 July at 9PM (that’s 1 August 10AM for us) at the Bud Light Seltzer Stage after Erica Banks, DJO (a.k.a Stranger Things actor Joe Keery), Charli XCX, and The Kid Laroi.
BTS J-Hope at Lollapalooza: Date, Time
The good news of J-Hope headlining Lollapalooza was announced via the music festival’s social media accounts along with a montage video of the BTS rapper.
J-Hope is set to perform on 31 July at 9PM (that’s 1 August 10AM for us) at the Bud Light Seltzer Stage after Erica Banks, DJO (a.k.a Stranger Things actor Joe Keery), Charli XCX, and The Kid Laroi.
Upon the music festival’s announcement, J-Hope took to Instagram to share that it’s a “thrilling new challenge” and a “memorable chapter” for him and that he will give the audience a great show.
Kpop group and BTS labelmate Tomorrow x Together is also joining the lineup and will perform on 30 July.

Lollapalooza tickets are now available for purchase at its official website, with prices ranging from USD125/~SGD173 to USD4200/~SGD5800.
