Christmas movies on Netflix 2024
1. Our Little Secret
After Falling for Christmas, Lindsay Lohan is back for another festive rom-com titled Our Little Secret, making her the new holiday movie queen in our book.
The story kicks off when Avery accompanies her boyfriend Cameron (Jon Rudnitsky) to meet his family for the holidays. However, things take a chaotic turn when Avery discovers that Cameron’s sister Cassie (Katie Baker) is dating Logan (Ian Harding) — her ex-boyfriend.
Forced to spend Christmas under the same roof, Avery and Logan are thrust into a series of comical situations that challenge them to confront their unresolved feelings. While the bickering exes try to navigate their shared past, they must also juggle family expectations, holiday traditions, and their current relationships.
Add this to your watchlist if: you’re a fan of the “Lindsay Lohan holiday cinematic universe”. Another Christmas movie titled Hot Frosty features her old Mean Girls classmate played by Lacey Chabert making a cute reference to Lindsay as an old high school friend. Plus, Kristin Chenoweth is also part of this cast, and you’ll love her sassy and quirky character.

2. That Christmas
Richard Curtis, the director of the well-known Christmas romance movie Love Actually, has released That Christmas, his first animated feature. Adapted from his trilogy of children’s books, this delightful film intertwines three hilariously chaotic stories set in a quaint English town during a particularly eventful Christmas Eve.
Brian Cox (Succession) voices Santa who finds himself entangled in unexpected chaos. He faces blizzards and mishaps along with his sarcastic reindeer, Dasher (voiced by Guz Khan). It also follows a series of entwined tales about family and friends, love and loneliness. The cast also features Fiona Shaw, Jodie Whittaker, and Bill Nighy.
Add this to your watchlist if: you’re on the lookout for a movie that everyone in the family will enjoy. You’ll also enjoy hearing Ed Sheeran and Kelly Clarkson lend their amazing vocals for the movie’s soundtrack.

3. Meet Me Next Christmas
The film revolves around Layla (Christina Milian from Falling Inn Love) who goes off on a treasure hunt for love against the glittering backdrop of New York City.
She meets James (Kofi Siriboe)— her ideal man — at an airport lounge, and they agree to a fateful plan: if both are single the following Christmas, they’ll reconnect at a Pentatonix concert.
A year later, Layla decides to pursue her promise with James. However, she has to search for tickets to the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve concert. This leads her to Teddy (Devale Ellis), a professional concierge, and a deeper connection starts to grow between them.
Add this to your watchlist if: you enjoy love stories that occur in the most unexpected places. You also wouldn’t want to miss out on the enchanting harmonies of Pentatonix who have a special appearance towards the end of the film.

In the bustling chaos of Christmas Eve, he receives a menacing phone call from a mysterious traveller (Jason Bateman) who threatens Ethan’s pregnant girlfriend (Sofia Carson). This leaves him no choice but to let a dangerous package bypass airport security. The stakes escalate as Ethan becomes an unwilling participant in a deadly conspiracy, turning his workday into a race against time to protect innocent lives and outwit his manipulative adversary.
Add this to your watchlist if: you’re a fan of action-packed psychological thrillers that will keep you at the edge of your seat.
It’s coming to Netflix today, 13 December. Stream it here.
5. Spy X Family Code: White
The movie is an original story which cannot be found in the anime or manga, but you can be assured that its production was still supervised by the creator behind the adventure-comedy Spy x Family, Tatsuya Edo.
It’s the perfect gift for newbies as well as fans of the original franchise. It centres on the Forger family comprising Twilight — who takes on the identity of Loid Forger, Thorn Princess — who disguises herself as Yor Forger —, and their adopted daughter Anya. In this movie, they go on a family trip which in true Spy x Family fashion includes action, comedy, and heartwarming moments.
It’s coming to Netflix on 21 December.
