About 40 of Kuala Lumpur’s hippest lifestyle influencers had the first peep at the new Clarks outlet at the swanky Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre. They were treated to exclusive shopping moments and feasted their eyes at the myriad Clarks shoes for men, ladies and children, including the brand’s spring-summer 2022 collection.

A store with a PURE concept
Clarks’ swanky and spacious branch at Lalaport features the design concept ‘Pure’, which is based on clean lines and modernism. The goal? Make the shoes the star of the show and provide Malaysians with an improved shopping experience.

When you enter the store, you’ll instantly get a feel of what the renowned shoe brand stands for — high-quality in every aspect, from top-notch materials that are present in the store such as reclaimed woods copper and steel to the colour palette of simplicity and understated beauty.

Clarks’ Dress Shoes from the SS22 collection
Among the many Clarks shoes on display were the versatile and elegant dress shoes from the SS22 collection. They are perfect for stepping into the beating heart of urban life or embracing green city spaces; effortlessly stylish for balmy evenings on rooftop terraces, watching the world go by.
The Pure Dress pair has a mix of dressy and natural designs.
For instance, the Pure Dress in white leather, an easy slip-on loafer with a streamlined upper and a sleek silhouette that gives it a dressy appeal, without compromising its casual nature. The shoes feature the quintessential Clarks Cushion Plus padding for a slight stacked heel, a rubber outsole that gives a classic look and durability. But there are definitely more options that will also suit your taste.
‘Comfort in Confidence’ with Koe Yeet
Comfort and confidence are the epitome of Clarks’ shoes. So it’s not surprising that the brand partnered with Malaysian actor and social media influencer Koe Yeet for a collection of stylish shoes that also speaks volumes about the actress’ personal style.

Koe Yee curated six pairs of Clarks’ SS22 collection whose designs range from coral strap sandals to closed-toes leather pumps — all aimed at exuding ‘Comfort in Confidence.’ “For me, comfort is the confidence that takes me places, wherever and whenever I go. It all begins with an effortless style, timeless yet contemporary design. Confidence is wrapped up in feeling and looking good, and a perfect pair brings to life that spring in every step,” says Koe Yeet.
A fashion- and fun-filled afternoon
Guests also enjoyed various activities on top of getting acquainted with the new Clarks store and collection.
Aside from discovering Clarks’ new collection, the fashionistas also got to take part in different activity stations including a photography corner with a spotlight to capture their favourite ‘Clarks’ moments’ and a live colour illustration booth where they got their OOTDs (outfits of the day) featuring Clarks shoes immortalised on paper.
